Preloved Louis Vuitton Montaigne Tote Bag, MM

This is a stunning Tote bag by Louis Vuitton. The Montaigne MM combines a smart, structured exterior with a spacious, well-organized interior. The bag is named after the stylish Parisian avenue. It can be carried by its natural cowhide leather top handles, or on the shoulder with its removable Monogram Canvas shoulder strap. The interior of the Montaigne is lined with deep brown  colored Alcantara lining and has three slip pockets and a central zip compartment with a secure padlock holder.

The classic Monogram Canvas has been Louis Vuitton's trademark design since it was first introduced in 1896. The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days.

The exterior canvas is clean and in lovely condition. The leather has minor signs of use with slight darkening . The bag is slightly misshapen due to storage. The hardware has light surface scratches.The interior lining is clean with light signs of use. The clochette shows minor signs of use and has a couple of rubbing marks to either side. Please note the inking on the strap has been restored and is in perfect condition.
